    I think I would miss the costumes in this updated version. The costumes help tell the story for me.

      Hi David, good morning. Clicking on “Giselle” (in red letters) you will watch a trailer and several photos. The play does not have the same costumes throughout its 2 or 3 acts. Costume is far from being the original. I guess it’s because this is a “contemporary” version of “Giselle”.

      Costumes in Dawson’s works have a lot in common (in fact most of them were designed by Yumiko Takeshima). You can see it at this link: https://balletthebestphotographs.wordpress.com/tag/david-dawson/

    Thanks Gustavo. I think I am turning into an old fogy. I like the beautiful costumes in the older ballets.

    I dated this girl years ago and she was in a local company. She thought tutus were uncomfortable to wear. Mr. Dawson’s costumes I would think are much more comfortable.
